Film critic

Film criticism is the eye that reveals a work of art and brings it to life. The Dima Cinéma team is convinced of the need for a new generation of film critics to emerge. To this end, it will be organizing “critic” workshops, aimed at a non-professional audience.

Articles, audio debates and video reviews will be presented to future registered critics to enable them to share their viewing experience and debate their thoughts on the films.

Image education

With the arrival of Smart Phones and small digital cameras, today’s generation is the first to have such easy access to producing images (photos, videos, etc.) and distributing them internally (Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

The first to be exposed to this danger are “young people”, in middle school or high school, all young people today have a smart phone, they are connected to social networks, download films via the web, view videos, share them…without any measure of the dangers or preparation for the different dimensions that these can take.

In Algeria, as in many other countries, there is as yet no image education in schools, nor outside school hours, which is why it is so important for Dima Cinéma to set up activities that will stimulate discussion around these new issues. Activity coming soon.

Ciné-fabrika program

This program is in line with Dima Cinéma’s approach, which is to create the widest possible network of alternative screens to enable the public to watch films on the big screen. But also, the creation of a “human” network of cinema enthusiasts who already share the same values.
