We see Dima Cinema as an intellectual and creative laboratory aiming to produce and disseminate cinematic knowledge while offering alternative screenings in Algeria. By combining screenings, critical interaction, the production of educational content, and creating spaces for experimentation and innovation, we aspire to make Dima Cinéma a living space that puts cinema back at the heart of cultural and social life in Algeria. This vision is realized through projects such as “Ramchet 3in”, which supports film production, “NextDoc”, which supports the emergence of a new generation of documentary producers, and our partnership with “Jil Cilima”, which helps develop a culture of film criticism. In this way, Dima Cinéma aims to be a place for dissemination and reflection and a space to produce independent Algerian cinema, working actively to promote its development.
Libre Image is an independent production company founded in 2010 by Boualem Ziani. Based in Algiers, it specializes in the production of documentary and fiction films, as well as the creation of a variety of content, such as TV programs and corporate films.
Libre Image stands out for its commitment to providing a platform for filmmakers, enabling them to explore diverse themes such as society, youth, history, migration, the environment, and women’s rights.
